VINDONIA
Vindonia plays Nordic traditional tunes in a personal style with an unusual lineup of song, fiddle and Celtic harp. Our musical backgrounds span wide, from the traditional soil of Nordic folk music to pop scenes and elegant classical receptions. Specifically, we are Lise Enochsson, Scanian folk singing; Karin Blom, Jämtland fiddling, and Susan Syverson on the Celtic harp.
Making music together since 2014 and with an appreciated tour in the US/Midwest summer of 2017, we now present our first album ’Vi’ in October 2018. With it, we hope to captivate even those listeners who may not usually seek out traditional/folk music. On the album you will hear ornate tunes with intricately woven harmonies alongside foot-tapping rythmical pieces.
